1631 is an effective parting agent and lubricant with anti-static properties. It is chemically neutral and solvent-free release agent used in plastic injection moulding or elastomer extrusion processes. 1361 creates a sliding film for joining materials such as plastic/plastic and plastic/metal, for example to make it easier to insert rubber profiles. It can be used as a mould release agent and for temperatures of up to +200°C. It provides excellent lubrication for threads on closures for pressurized steel oxygen cylinders at temperatures up to a maximum of 60°C and pressures of up to 15 bar.
