Description
Specifically designed used to detect non-destructively the hardness of rubber, plastic, sponges and related materials.
The Shore is the scale most widely used in the field of hardness measurements of temoplastic elastomers. The symbol 0 indicates that penetration has entered up to the mximun depth while as the symbol of 100 indicates a lack of penetration in the sample.
When Shore A is above 90 Shore D is recommended, applied with a sharper measurement. When Shore A is below 5 Shore E is recommended.
The Shore hardness testers are suitable for the quality control in the production of rubber and plastic also for the maintenance of sockets\gaskets.
