The inserts for slots are made in sintered alloy, that after a thermal treatment it reaches a hardness of 70-71 HRC. This material gives the inserts a high toughness which allows them to withstand high pressure. The inserts also undergo a TIN surface coating treatment. The inserts are sharp and tapered on all their sides. This process eliminates flank contact that prevents the cutting perpendicular of all reference axis parts during slotting. Available on request inserts P6 tolerance D10 -D11 or with chamfer holes of 0.2x45° (H7-SM e P6-SM) and the walls of the quarry broached, this leaving the holes free of burrs. This type of bevel is suitable only on the premises for UNI keys.
