INTERNAL PROBE. Instrument is used for non-destructive measurement of coating thickness on metallic bases. With an operating principle (parasite magnetic inductive) these instruments may detect thickness in insulating coating (e.g. enamel, paint, etc.) not ferromagnetic ones (aluminum, zinc, etc.) used as ferromagnetic coating (e.g. steel, iron, etc.).Furthermore, they can detect insulation thickness (e.g. enamel, paint, etc.) of non ferromagnetic coating (aluminum, zinc, etc.). Ideal for quality control in production lines and in any other industrial sector where coating control is required (galvanic, automotive, nautical, construction, etc.).
Note: Instruments measure also tungsten carbide coating on stainless steel.
