Analogue gauges

The analog comparator is a useful tool for measuring for example the displacement of an object, detecting parallelism errors, verifying the linearity of a surface with respect to a reference plane, verifying the oscillation and cylindricity of a circumference with respect to an axis, detecting differences between an object and its sample, checking the deformations of a piece or the positioning of the tools being processed on machine tools.
