Description
4220 is a lubricating grease for extreme temperatures based on perfluoropolyether (PFPE) oils. Its NSF H1 certification means that it can be used in food and related industries.
4220 is recommended for rolling bearings operating at high temperatures, tunnel kiln machinery, cooking ovens, burners and dryers, hot gas units, reaction vessels, boiler plants, rollers and conveyors used in continuous ovens.
Its characteristics make 4220 grease suitable for use in the metalworking, chemical, food and packaging industries.
4220 is resistant to water and steam; it has an exceptional resistance to chemical agents (solvents, benzene, benzol, acetone, trichloroethane and inorganic acids such as sulphuric acid, hydrochloric acid and nitric acid as well as stearic acids, alcohols and halogens). Lastly, it is highly compatible with plastic and elastomers.
The special 4220 grease is suitable for long-term lubrication, even for high temperatures up to 300°C.
Operating temperature - 30°C +280°C.
NLGI 2. Class 2.
