Special Grease 480 is a fully synthetic calcium sulphonate complex for high loads and pressures.
This grease is designed and formulated to meet the safety requirements of the food industry through its NSF H1 certification.
This product is suitable for lubricating rolling and anti-friction bearings even at high temperatures and is also suitable for lubricating bearings in contact with cleaning agents or disinfectants.
The fields of application for Grease 480 are very varied: the food and beverage industry, the pharmaceutical industry, the animal feed industry, the packaging industry and the metal industry.
In addition to NSF H1 certification, Special Grease 480 has high shear stability (which prevents thinning of the grease under extreme mechanical loads such as during vibration), excellent wear protection and very good high-pressure properties.
Thanks to the calcium sulphonate complex soap, Grease 480 provides excellent water resistance and excellent corrosion protection.
